The Circle of the Star Church was founded in Los Angeles in the mid-1920s by Theola Atkinson.
Theola relocated to San Bernardino, opposite Meadowbrook Park, in the mid-1930's.
After Theola's death in the mid-1940's, the church was led by Georgia McGinnis.
In 1958, Georgia (Priestess Victory) married Frank S. Rader (Priest Caleb).
