• THE SAKOGUCHI FAMILY WAS HELD AT POSTON WAR RELOCATION CENTER, IN SOUTHWESTERN ARIZONA, FOR THE DURATION OF WORLD WAR II (May 25, 1942 to September 23, 1945).

"We came home to 163 north Allen in September of 1945. As soon as our store got started again, my Pop had the house fixed up...new siding...a beautiful terra cotta red front porch...an addition on the back...even a white picket fence." [ben sakoguchi]
